
Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Bhaktapur Durbar square is one of the oldest and largest squares in Nepal. Built in the 12th century by King Ananda Malla it had a lot of reconstruction after a huge earthquake in 1934.
The square is surrounded by magnificent buildings such as The Golden Gate, the 55 Window Palace, Pashupatinath Temple (Bhaktapur), Vatsala Durga Temple and the Siddhi Laxmi Temple.
