A baby elephant in Chitwan National Park
Nepal has over 200 elephants. There were once over 2,000. Sauraha elephant breeding center in Chitwan is trying to help keep the elephant population stable.
Elephants found in Nepal are known as Indian elephants and can be found in Thailand, Burma and India.
